  1. Please do not take this medicine if you fall into any of the following categories:
  (1) Individuals who have experienced allergic reactions (such as rash, redness, itching, or swelling of the throat, eyelids, lips, etc.) to H2 blockers like famotidine, etc.₂​
  (2) Individuals receiving treatment for the following conditions, or undergoing medication administration, at a medical institution:
  Blood disorders, kidney and liver diseases, heart diseases, stomach and duodenal diseases, immune system disorders such as asthma and rheumatism, steroid medications, antibiotics, anticancer drugs, azole antifungals
  (This may cause leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, etc.)
  (If you have kidney or liver disease, the excretion of the drug may be delayed and potentially causing stronger effects)
  (If you have heart disease such as myocardial infarction, valvular heart disease, or cardiomyopathy, you may experience irregular heartbeats accompanied by electrocardiogram abnormalities.)
  (Individuals receiving treatment for gastric or duodenal diseases are likely prescribed famotidine or similar medications, so caution is needed to avoid duplicate dosing.)
  (Absorption of azole antifungal agents decreases, reducing their effectiveness.)
  (3) Individuals who have been diagnosed by a doctor that they have blood abnormalities such as low red blood cell count (anemia), low platelet count (difficulty stopping bleeding or prone to bleeding), or low white blood cell count
  (This drug may become trigger a recurrence of blood disorders.)
  (4) Children (under 15 years of age) and the elderly (80 years of age or older)
  (5) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant.
  2. Do not take the following medicines while taking this drug.

  Things to consult

  
  

  1. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if any of the following apply to you.
  (1) You are currently receiving medical treatment from a doctor or taking other medicines
  (2) You have had allergic symptoms due to drugs, etc.
  (3) Elderly (65 years of age or older)
  (In general, elderly individuals may have reduced physiological function.)
  (4) Individuals with the following symptoms:
  Sore throat, cough, and high fever (Individuals with these symptoms may be suspected of having a serious infection, and may exhibit blood abnormalities, such as decreased blood cell counts). If you have any of these symptoms before taking this medicine, they may worsen with use, and you may be slow to notice side effects. Unexplained weight loss, persistent abdominal pain (may be caused by another illness).
  
  2. If any of the following symptoms appear after taking this medicine, they may be side effects. Stop taking it immediately and consult your doctor or pharmacist with this document.

  Press firmly on the raised part of the blister pack containing the tablets with your fingertip to tear the aluminum foil on the back, then take out the tablet and swallow it. (If swallowed accidentally without removing it from the pack, it may pierce the esophageal lining and cause unexpected accidents.)
  
  This medicine is not taken at a fixed intervals, but only when symptoms appear.
  There is no effect from food, so you may take this medicine before meals, after meals, or between meals.
  One tablet controls excess stomach acid for about 8 hours, so if you take it twice a day, please leave an interval of at least 8 hours between doses.
