This medication is an oral patch. Do not take it orally (do not swallow it). Instead, apply it to the affected area using the method below.
The "stomatitis (aphthous)" that this drug targets is a general term for inflammation in which one or several small, painful, shallow ulcers (less than 10 mm in diameter) with reddish edges and a shallow depression in the center appear on the inside of the cheek, tongue, or under the lips, as shown in the figure on the right.

[Wipe the affected area]
1. Gently place tissue paper or gauze on the area with the canker sore and wipe away any saliva.

[Remove the film]
2. Slowly peel off the aluminum sheet from the opening and remove only the medication (film).
3. Pick up the medication (film) with your fingertips and check that it has a pink side and a white side.

While looking in the mirror, apply the patch to the affected area and press firmly.
4. Lightly press the white side onto the affected area and hold it down with your fingertips for about 3 seconds (1, 2, 3), then release your fingertips.

■ Make sure to press firmly all the way around the edges when applying the sticker. If the sticker is not firmly attached in any places, it will come off easily.
