This page explains the process of purchasing NORLEVO at a pharmacy or drugstore.

1. Step 01

   Check in advance whether NORLEVO can be purchased over the counter

   There are conditions for purchasing and taking NORLEVO. To ensure a smooth purchase, we recommend checking the following self-checklist before going to the store. If the result indicates that you cannot purchase it at the store, please please see a doctor.

   • Please access the official LINE account for "DAIICHI SANKYO HEALTHCARE | Medicine Support" via the link below and add it as a friend.
   • After adding us as a friend, please select "Pre-Medication Self-Check." Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the check. If you are likely to be able to take the medication, a screen displaying the results will appear. Please use this when filling out the check sheet at the store.
   • If you are unable to take the medication, please see a doctor.

2. Step 02

   Find an authorized pharmacy or drugstore that carries NORLEVO

   NORLEVO can be purchased at pharmacies and drugstores that meet certain requirements.

3. Step 03

   Let the pharmacy or drugstore
   know your request

   Please inform the pharmacist or staff at the store that you would like to purchase the Emergency Contraceptive Pill NORLEVO.
   If you feel uncomfortable asking directly, please show this screen at the store.

   The person displaying this screen
   is in need of the Emergency Contraceptive Pill (morning-after pill)
   "NORLEVO".
   Please assist accordingly.

4. Step 04

   Verification by a Pharmacist

   A pharmacist will check whether you are able to take NORLEVO based on the Pre-Administration Confirmation Checklist.
   If you do not meet the conditions, you will not be able to purchase it in stores, so please see a doctor.

5. Step 05

   Take the Medication On-site

   If you are eligible to take the medication, purchase one tablet and take it in front of the pharmacist. You may not take it home or give it to others.

6. Three weeks after taking the medicine,
   please check whether you are pregnant

   The effectiveness of NORLEVO cannot be determined immediately after taking it. Please confirm your pregnancy status by using a pregnancy test or consulting a medical institution three weeks after taking the medication. If the pregnancy test result is positive, please see a doctor as soon as possible.
